Harry Mitchell’s Fannie PAC

With all the heat and scrutiny on Freddie Mac and their contribution to America’s economic demise, I thought I’d run a quick check to see if their PAC gave money to Harry Mitchell.

Lo and behold, there on the FEC reporting site was the evidence.

On June 6, 2008, Harry Mitchell accepted a donation from Freddie Mac’s PAC. The amount was for $1,000.

If Harry really wants to do his part to avert the coming financial crisis, he ought to refund the donation.
